Brewery Dissolved Oxygen Control

PowerFlow designed and built a 30 gpm water deoxygenation system utilizing 3M Liqui-Cel technology for a craft brewery in North Texas.  The system was designed to lower the DO content of well water from 8 ppm to 20 ppb. The system was installed.  The precise control of DO helps product quality and consistency.

Paulaner Brewery DAW System

This 3M Liqui-Cel degassing system at Paulaner Brewery has run completely problem-and-maintenance-free since 2003, according to a Technical Brief from 2017.  High O2 levels in beer cause organoleptic problems.  This clean, simple-to-operate system can used throughout the beer production process.

UV Dechlorination at Sierra Nevada

When it comes to ensuring a consistent beer taste, the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company in Chico, CA uses Aquionics’ UV technology in its process.  Sierra Nevada has been very positive, with the company reporting excellent performance from the Aquionics UV systems.  Read more about this important application.
