Solberg Chemical Adsorption Series Activated Carbon Elements
Activated carbon filter elements remove contaminants and impurities, using chemical adsorption. Each particle/granule of carbon provides a large surface area/pore structure, allowing contaminants the maximum possible exposure to the active sites within the filter media. whereby pollutant molecules are trapped inside the pore structure of the carbon substrate, Common Industrial applications that activated carbon media elements are used in is the removal of odor and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Solberg offers four types of chemical adsorptive media elements:
AC Series: Activated Carbon Impregnated Polyester
ACG Series: Activated Carbon Granulate
AA Series: Activated Alumina Desiccant
GM Series: Electrostatic Adsorptive media
GMAC Series: Gray Matter Activated Carbon
